Reedbed Project Example

Clean-out of reedbeds 2 and 3 to maintain treatment efficacy across the 3-bed system.

Works required:

- Improvements to and shoring up of existing access track

- Construction of site security fencing, access trackway, safety signage

- Chopper pump and pipework

- Construction of temporary sump.

- Recycling and recovery of all tonnage removed.

Removal, preservation and transplanting of mature Phragmites australis and aftercare monitoring.
